International designers | #blickfang

Last week I visited „blickfang“ in Hamburg. It is a fair for beautiful and international design! 120 designers present their fashion, furniture or jewellery collection. The fair was for the fifth time in Hamburg and it was the first time for me I visited it. I’m ashamed, because it was really very great. All the things you see and can buy at the fair are handmade and unfortunately they are little bit expensive, but it’s worth it – it’s high quality!

If you think “Oh no, I missed it!” Don’t be sad! This was the first fair during this season. (Next stops see below!)

Back to Hamburg. During the three days you had the chance to talk directly to the designers and creative directors. Some details were really very interesting, they told us. So let’s have a look at this elegant and simple stool. If you want to mounting it, you have to do nothing, because the legs of the stool are magnetic connected. The technique is really very cool! This made by a Bavarian label “kommod”.

Now I present you some more wonderful labels, I fell in love.

Kollateralschaden

This label is from Berlin. I only saw this red dress and that was enough. Yes, I fall in love. “Our fashion stands for those who are serious when they inquire about sustainable production, and will appreciate it if they know: It is that way. People who sit casually, dance wildly or are passionately sporty. Individuals who like to leave the suit at home or even wear their dress upside down. People who do not mix powerful with obvious, delicate with fragile or lightweight with flimsy.”

Mirjam May

Elegant, simple, straight lines, no bric-a-brac, waterproof and beautiful – this is definitely my style! I love all those trenchcoates. Mirjam May has six different coats and if I had the choice, I don’t know which one I would take, they are all wonderful. I think the little details will take off your decision. Do you wear a hood or do prefer umbrellas? Nubs or zips? These are the decisions you have to take.

Woodlovers

The wristwatches are gorgeous! My favourite one is the “Variety Bamboo”. The designers not only create watches but also sunglasses and covers for your iphone.

No wodka

No Wódka is a conept store and gallery in Berlin promoting Polish art, fashion and design. I like the design, especially the lamps and furniture. My favourite piece was this cool lamp for the table. The gallery cooperates both with well-known design studios as well as young creators – the only considerable criterion for the selection refers to the originality of the idea and a high quality workmanship.

Design by Dane

If you like scandianvian design, you should discover the furniture of “Design by Dane”. I met a smart guy of the team, he told us something about the modern but timeless label. They use only quality materials. The styles are minimal and functional. I think it’s typically Scandinavian design.

Licht Liebe

Smiliar are the lamps of Licht Liebe. “Fafoo” is on the one hand very simple on the other hand very kittenish. I mean, have a look at the design – it’s really very straigt. The llight bulb is the only element with curves. This combination made the light wonderful. It’s more wonderful, if you hang three lamps side by side. Fantastic!

Some more labels I discover were Johannes Lerch, Woodthings and Nogallery. ❤
