#Sneaker | the best present or something for museums?

A lot of my friends have babies. So many new lives see the light of day. Some cute guys! And every single time I ask myself, what’s the perfect present for a baby or for the new young parents? Some friends are closer to you, but it’s always the same question. What’s the right little thing for someone new in this world. (Apart from the question do you have to make someone a present?) I love to make presents, so I have to reactivate my good old gray brain cell.

There are some classical types of presents I love to hand over. The best gifts are a music box, a little towel for babies or something for the stroller. If I give away a music box, I always ask if one of them is already existing. A second music box can never hurt (for your car or to go).

During my last research I found something, nearly everyone owns. I think everyone between 10 and 45 years has a pair. CHUCKS! Do you have a pair of Converse chucks? I do! White, blue, red… I have a lot of chucks and I love them. I think you already know the mini Ones for kids. But this time I don’t mean this cute little mini shoes. I think of chuck socks for babies!!! This company has the perfect sneaker for every generation. I am really excited, when they will develop something for seniors. ;D

Chucks, Vans, Nike, Adidas, I think everyone of us owns a pair of sneakers. Last year the Brooklyn Museum presented the first sneaker exhibition. For all of them who weren’t able to travel around the world to see this exhibition, there will be light. Put on your sneakers! Visit on May 13th the new exhibition “Sneaker” at Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg.

  1. Even if you are older than 45, you are allowed to wear chucks …And I won’t wear any collection for seniors – just think of “Rentnerbeige”…
