It’s defiantly time for a new outfit on the blog as autumn has arrived and time is up for summer clothes. I packed my sandals and little dresses away and got out my boots and knitted stuff, all my sweaters and jackets. I love fall, it’s probably my favorite season of the year. It’s not yet cold, the sun is still shining bright all day and I love boots more than any other pair of shoes. So autumn is my season of the year. Totally matching with my love of the season the blogger group “Normal Size Blogger” I am part of decided to start a little series about autumn. We all did and wrote about something different creating a great collage of inspiration for this the season. You find all the other blogs at the end of this post, check them out and get ready for fall.
My outfit is a combination of something old and something new because I wear my clothes longer than one season. That’s why I always go for basics and extravagant stuff when I go shopping. So the knitted dress is new. I bought it at my local flip*flop store the other day and I love it. It’s perfect for sunny autumn weather as it’s knitted but light. And the brown color and red leaf print just cries out fall doesn’t it?! The boots are from last season, but honestly they’re black over knee boots so there is nothing wrong with them and you can always find similar ones. They’re one of my most expensive pairs and I’m planning on wearing them forever if you know what I mean. So the dress and the boots are a perfect match for a long walk with the dog. For those I always choose one of my museum tote bags to carry because I don’t need much with me. Tote bags are awesome souvenirs from museums. I started to collect them years ago. Normally there is one for every exhibition. This one is from an opening at Harry Ransom Center in Texas I attended 2013. “I have seen the future” was the exhibition title. Love it.

This post was created for a German blog series named “Mein Herbst” (my autumn). With 8 other beautiful and inspiring women I decided to write about an aspect of autumn for nine days. Each and everyone of us did something different creating some inspiration for your personal great start to the third season of this year. If you enjoyed this post check out the other ladies’ blogs.

Ein wirklich herbstlicher Look! Steht dir gut und die Bilder sind sehr schön geworden. Mir gefallen vor allem die Stiefel und der Mantel sehr gut. 🙂
