I have so often read about the exhibition “MADEMOISELLE PRIVÉ” which will start at 13th of October at the Saatchi Gallery in London. “A journey through the origins of Chanel’s creations capturing the charismatic personality and irreverent spirit of Mademoiselle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld.” The Admission for the exhibition is free. Yes! At least it is said on the website.

But what will the exhibition be about? It’s about the origins of Chanel, it’s a journey through the house’s creativity. Visitors see Haute Couture, the re-editions of the high jewelry “Bijoux de Diamantes” collection created in 1932 and Chanel N°5.

“Installed on all three floors of the Gallery, the enticing adventure will bring to mind the House’s essential elements: audacity, freedom and innovation whether it is the history of Gabrielle Chanel’s inspirations or Karl Lagerfeld’s inimitable take on CHANEL’s codes, symbols and icons.”

We already visited the first retrospective of Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s creative director for 30 years. And Michelle told you about a fantastic book about the“Vocabulary of Style”by Chancel.
